Hi Skyla, it's Hana from Wainui Beach School, in Gisborne. I like the way you used a clear explanation on how to add numbers together by using place value. This reminds me of when I was learning to do place value in parts. I think it was a good idea to insert the different colours, yellow and blue to break apart the two bits of the equation. Do you find working out equations easier now that you can use place value? This was an awesome blog post! From Hana
Hello Skyla, My name is Carys I am from Wainui Beach School. I loved reading your blog post The fonts really intrigued me and made me want to read more. I also found that the question you worked out was appropriate for the method that you used to work it out. It reminded me of 2 things, the time our class worked on D.L.Os and also the time when we worked on solving multiplication questions in parts. I loved the presentation but all the feedback I have is I would use the same font all the way through the presentation. Amazing D.L.O Keep up the good work!
Hi Skyla my name is Savannah I go to Owairaka Primary School in Mt Albert, Auckland. I am in a Maths group and we have been doing the same sort of sums. I am getting good at working them out.
